The chamber music matinees conclude with the musical friends of the Liechtenstein soprano Sarah Längle. The program as well as the cast are worth an eye-catcher in and of themselves - singer Sarah Längle, flautist Martin Glück, percussionist Juris Azers, and pianist and arranger Nigel Shore. The program deals with the superordinate “Metanand” motto with the subtitle “The Nightingale”, since all of the works have a connection to this special songbird. In addition to composers such as Johannes Brahms, Richard Strauss and Alban Berg, it is precisely the less well-known such as Marie-Josephe Canteloube, Jules Mouquet or Jacob Druckman that make you curious and sit up and take notice. The soprano Sarah Längle is fondly remembered by the Liechtenstein audience and beyond when she last impressed the audience with her brilliant performances at the opening concert of the VADUZ CLASSIC festival in summer 2021. Now she is returning to the SOL for the first time with a chamber music program.
