Biography

Isa-Sophie Zünd was born in 2000 in Liechtenstein and attended the music high school in Feldkirch. There, she completed the basic artistic studies at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory with Anna Adamik. She then studied the piano with Claudio Martínez Mehner and Adrian Oetiker at the Basel Music Academy and is now doing her master's degree with Andras Kemenes at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in Budapest.

The young pianist regularly takes part in master classes, including with Claudio Martínez Mehner, Ian Fountain, Pavel Gililov, Paul Gulda, Hung-Kuan Chen and Annamaria Bódoky-Krause. She receives additional impulses for her artistic training from Oliver Schnyder. She is also a scholarship holder of the Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks there.

At the "Swiss Youth Music Competition" and the Austrian competition "Prima la Musica" she won several 1st prizes and a special prize at national level. Isa-Sophie has been heard live on the radio several times, for example as part of the Talente im Funkhaus (ORF) series.

At the age of 13, she performed as a soloist with an orchestra for the first time and one year later she gave her first recital. She performs regularly in chamber music formations or as a soloist, including with the symphony orchestra of the Vorarlberg State Conservatory, the Liechtenstein-Werdenberg Orchestra and the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra. Her concert activities have taken her not only to Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Austria, but also to Germany and Hungary.
