Biography
Emanuel David Reinhardt is currently a violin student of Professor Victor Tretyakov. Emanuel was born in Switzerland in 2006. He received his first violin lesson at the age of six. His musical journey continued with a Hungarian violin teacher and later led him to Zurich, where he studied with Mr. Jens Lohmann at the Zurich Conservatory of Music. During this time, Emanuel also gained experience as concertmaster of Stringendo4Kids.
In 2018, Emanuel was admitted to the advanced support program of the Zurich Conservatory of Music. One year later, he achieved first place at the Zurich Music Competition. In 2020, Mrs. Liana Tretiakova, director of the Zakhar Bron School of Music, accepted Emanuel as her student. She also enabled him to participate in workshops with renowned professors, including Zakhar Bron and Latica Honda-Rosenberg.

Further distinguished professors invited him to attend their masterclasses, among them Pavel Vernikov, Kirill Troussov, Boris Kuschnir, Vadim Gluzman, and Alexander Gordon. Emanuel has already participated three times in the Golden Festival (Young Classical Artist of Tomorrow). In 2022 and 2023, he performed there accompanied by the Zurich Chamber Philharmonic String Ensemble.
In April 2022, Emanuel won third prize in the violin solo category at the finals of the Swiss Youth Music Competition. In 2023, he won numerous international online competitions and was invited several times to perform at prizewinners’ concerts.
In March 2024, Emanuel was invited to perform Paganini’s La Campanella and Cantabile in London with orchestra accompaniment. In April, he won first prize at the Victoria BCN Violin Competition. In May, he achieved first prize at the finals of the Swiss Youth Music Competition, becoming the youngest participant in his category to do so. In September, Emanuel had the opportunity to perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4 with orchestra under the direction of Professor Alexander Gordon.
In 2025, Emanuel successfully completed the Swiss Matura examination. A few weeks later, he achieved fifth place in the highest category at the finals of the Hong Kong International Young Musicians Competition. In the autumn, Emanuel was accepted into the annual course in Bergamo led by Professor Pavel Vernikov, Professor Svetlana Makarova, and Igor Volochine.
