Biography

Henning Felde Haldorsen (b. 2011) comes from Bergen, and has been playing the violin since the age of five. He attends Unge Talenter Vestland - Barratt-Due, with teacher Per Gisle Haagenrud. He also regularly travels to Oslo for lessons with Alf Richard Kraggerud. Henning is a fellow at the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein.

In Norway 2024, Henning won the Midgard Prize, and in 2025 he got the first prize in the Estonian violin competition Young Musician - Tallinn.

Henning has made a name for himself as a young violin talent with a strong musical will and personality. In the past year he has received a scholarship from the Ånun Lund Rej Memorial Foundation, and the Gunstrøms Memorial Endowment.
