He began studying the piano at the age of four and won his first international competition just one year later. At six, he gave his first public recital at the Palazzo Barberini in Rome, and at the age of eleven he made his orchestral debut performing Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in the Great Shostakovich Hall of the Saint Petersburg Philharmonia, conducted by Anatoly Rybalko with the Saint Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.

He regularly appears at international music festivals, including the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, Amici della Musica di Perugia, the Tuscia Opera Festival, the Lisztomanias Festival in Châteauroux and Paris, and the Reate Festival in Rieti, where he performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2 at the Teatro Flavio Vespasiano under the direction of Kent Nagano with the Tafelmusik Orchestra.

In the most recent season, he gave numerous chamber music and solo concerts in Italy (Trieste, Verona, Bolzano, and Florence), Germany (Hanover, Munich, Schwerin, Bremen, Hamburg, Leipzig, and Lindau), Austria (Salzburg and Arlberg), as well as at the Athenaeum of Bucharest and the National Opera of Tirana. He performed Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto with the EY Young Talent Orchestra and was invited on a concert tour with the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra as part of the Young Masters Piano Festival, which took him to venues including the Ravensburg Concert Hall, Lindau City Theatre, and the Small Golden Hall in Augsburg.

Born in Rome in 1997, Jacopo Giovannini completed his studies at the Conservatorio di Musica Santa Cecilia at the age of just fourteen, graduating with highest honors, followed by further masterclasses in Italy.
