After ten years of study with Christine Fonlupt at the CRR of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, he has been pursuing his training since 2022 at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) in the class of Claire Désert and Romano Pallottini. There, he also deepens his knowledge of composition, keyboard harmony, analysis, and chamber music. A passionate chamber musician, he founded the Duo Pierrot with pianist Martin Jaspard and collaborates regularly with cellist Léo Léna. He has also received guidance from artists such as Elisabeth Leonskaja, Anne Queffélec, François-Frédéric Guy, Bernard d’Ascoli, and the Trio Wanderer. Committed from a young age to the Petites Mains Symphoniques association, through which he took part in more than 150 concerts, Paul Lecocq acquired extensive stage experience early on. Curious about all musical repertoires, he works with contemporary composers such as Jörg Widmann, Édith Lejet, and Fabien Touchard. Early music also holds a central place in his artistic life, and he cultivates a dual practice of piano and harpsichord.
