Biography
Eva-Maria Lippa, born in 2000, received her first violin lessons at the age of six from Prof. Anke Schittenhelm at the University of Art in Graz. In 2014 she switched to the viola and was accepted into Prof. Herbert Kefer's preparatory class at the Oberschützen Institute. Since autumn 2018 she has been studying with Prof. Thomas Riebl at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg.
The young musician was a participant in master classes at the ikmT Irdning and the International Summer Academy Bad Leonfelden, at the Raach orchestra camp and in "With Music - Together" at the Kronberg Academy. She is also a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein, where she takes part in the intensive weeks and activities of the academy.

With both the violin and the viola she took part in the Austrian competition "Prima la Musica" in the categories violin solo, viola solo and in various chamber music formations and was awarded several 1st prizes at the state and national level. In the “Jenö Takacs Scholarship Competition 2016” she won a sponsorship award. As part of a piano quartet, she received first prize at the “7. Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione Musicale” in Treviso (Italy). At the “10. International Szymon Goldberg Competition for Violin and Viola 2017” she was awarded a special prize in the solo viola category.
In autumn 2018 Eva-Maria Radl took part in a modern opera production of the Mozarteum University Salzburg in cooperation with the Austrian ensemble for new music in the chamber orchestra.
