Biography
Alona Khlevna was born in 1996 in Ukraine. She started playing the violin when she was four years old. In 2005, she entered the Special Secondary School of Music in Kharkiv, Ukraine, in the class of Prof. Grebneva Irina. When she was 15, she decided to switch from violin to viola and studied in Prof. Kupriyanenko's class. In 2013, Alona graduated from the school in Kharkiv and continued her studies at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, in the class of Prof. Fedor Belugin, violist of the David Oistrakh String Quartet. She completed her bachelor's degree in 2017. After graduating, she continued to receive private lessons from her teacher Fedor Belugin. She’s studying in the master programm with Prof. Roland Glassl at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany.

Alona is a scholarship holder of the Academy of Music in Liechtenstein, where she takes part in the intensive weeks and activities of the academy.
In 2021, she got a Special Award at the „Hindemith International Viola Competition“.
She performed on stage as a soloist and member of various chamber ensembles and plays as a substitute in the Bayrische Staatsoper.
