Biography
Born in 2008, Lana Zorjan has been playing the violin since the age of four. She is a prizewinner of many competitions around the globe and has had over 300 concerts and television appearances. In January of 2024, Lana became a winner of the prestigious International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) Discovery Award, which led to her debut in Spain accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of Valencia on the ICMA Gala Concert.
Zorjan is currently a student of Prof. Pavel Vernikov at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. Besides her studies in Austria, she is also a scholarship holder at the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein and regularly takes part in the Intensive Weeks, concerts and other events offered by the academy.

She has performed a few dozen concerts as a soloist with many different orchestras, among which are Symphony Orchestra of Valencia, Malagà Philharmonic Orchestra, Pardubice Philharmonic Orchestra, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Serbian National Theatre and Symphony orchestra of the Serbian Radio Television.
Lana performed with conductors such as Alexander Liebreich, Guillermo Garcia Calvo, Toshifumi Kanai, Guillermo Garcia Calvo, Jose Maria Moreno Valiente, Maximilian Haberstock, Janos Kovacs, Pavel Doležal, Srboljub Dinic and Aleksandar Kojic.
On her musical path, she has participated in masterclasses of professors such as Pavel Vernikov, Zakhar Bron, Svetlana Makarova, Ingolf Turban, Latica Honda – Rosenberg, Michael Guttman, Mohamed Hiber, Lihay Bendayan, Stefan Milenkovich, Pavel Šporcl and others.
Lana plays on a violin of Laurentius (Lorenzo) Bellafontana (Italy, 1952) kindly loaned by the Foundation “Musik und Jugend”.
