Biography
Avalon Stottrop was born in 2009 in Germany. He began studying the violin at the age of six with Beate Müns at the music school in Berlin City West. He has been a scholarship holder there since 2019. He is currently attending the Goethe-Gymnasium in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, where he was selected as part of a scholarship for the gifted. Since January 2023, he has been taking regular lessons with Prof. Latica Honda-Rosenberg to prepare for the entrance exam at the renowned Julius Stern Institute for gifted children.
Avalon is a scholarship holder of the Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks and activities that take place there.

In 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023, Avalon won 1st prizes at the national competition “Jugend Musiziert”, in 2022 with special distinction. In 2023, he won the 2nd prize in the violin duo category at the national competition “Jugend Musiziert”. In 2021, he was a prize winner at the "conTAKT Junior Competition".
In 2020, he was accepted as the first violinist in the youth orchestra of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin.
