Biography

Adrian Buzac belongs to the top class of international oboists. He was born in Brasov Romania and grew up in a well-known family of musicians.

Thanks to his outstanding development on the instrument, he was able to begin studying concert oboe in Salzburg at the age of 16. This was later followed by studies in instrumental pedagogy, baroque oboe and musicology. Among his inspiring teachers were Lothar Koch, Maurice Bourgue, Günther Passin and Alfredo Bernardini.

At a young age he gained extensive orchestral experience and an immense repertoire with orchestras and ensembles such as the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Orchestra of the Tyrolean Festival Erl, the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, the Simon Bolivar Orchestra, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, the Symphony Orchestra Liechtenstein, the Vienna Concert-Verein, the Symphony Orchestra Vorarlberg, the Ensemble Esperanza, the ÖENM and Windkraft Tirol.
