Biography
Frédéric Pouliot was born in 2001 in Canada. He is now pursuing his bachelor studies at McGill’s Schulich School of Music in Violaine Melançon’s studio.
He polished his craft in Germany and Austria with renowned musicians and pedagogues and is a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein where he takes part in the intensive weeks and activities offered by the academy.
Frédéric won numerous prizes as well as being the 1st prize laureate of the “Canadian Music Competition” three times. More recently, he has been finalist of the “Prix d’Europe Competition” in Montréal.

After being one of the youngest guest soloists to have ever played with the world-renowned string orchestra Les Violons du Roy, Frédéric will take part in their new Émergence program in 2023. He also toured across Quebec after his participation in the CBC TV show Virtuose.
He is currently playing on a Carlo Antonio Testore violin (Milan ca. 1732) and a Émile François Ouchard bow (ca. 1930), both graciously loaned by Canimex. Inc.
