Biography
Violinist Eva Lesage was born in 2001 in Canada. She is completing her Bachelor's degree at the Montreal Conservatory of Music in the studio of Alexander Read and Helmut Lipsky.
She is a scholarship holder on the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks and activities offered by the academy.
Invited three times by the OSM, notably in recital as part of the Virée Classique, Eva has won numerous 1st prizes, among others at the “Canadian Music Competition”, the “Euro International Music Competition” and the “Pierre-De-Saurel music competition”. These distinctions allowed her to play as a soloist with numerous orchestras in North America, including the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre Métropolitain during a six concerts tour that received the 2019 Opus Prize for Production of the Year - Young Audiences.

Eva holds the position of Concertmaster at the OSCMM and is a founding member of the Vatra Quartet, having won 1st prizes at the “Canadian Music Competition”, “Classival Music Competition” and the Grand Prize at “Sherbrooke Music Competition 2022”.
She will perform with the I Musici orchestra of Belgium and Montreal, with the Orchestre Symphonique du Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, as well as with the Orchestre Symphonique de Laval during the 2022-23 season.
Eva plays on a 1873 Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin and a circa 1920 Victor Fétique bow graciously lent by Canimex Inc, of Drummondville (Quebec), Canada.
