Biography
Nikola Bogomilov was born in 2003 in Moscow. He started his piano lessons at the age of 6 years. He studies at the National School of Music Lyubomir Pipkov in Sofia, Bulgaria, in the piano class of Assosiated Professor Alexander Vassilenko, PhD.
He receives a scholarship from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and participates in the intensive music weeks held there. In 2012 he won the 1st prize at the “International Competition For Young Pianists” in Vranija, Serbia. Other 1st prizes he won in 2013 at the “International Competition For Chamber Music” in Kavadartsi, Macedonia, as a member of a piano duo, in 2014 in the A-group and the “special award for the most talented contestant“ of the international piano competition “Classical and Contemporary” in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria, in 2015 at the international piano competition “Mozart” in Frascati, Italy, as well as the special prize of the “New Musical Academy” Foundation, Rome. In 2015 Nikola Bogomilov also won the 2nd prize at the international piano competition “Craiova-Piano” in Craiova, Romania. In 2016 he won the 1st prize at the international piano competition “Pianofriends” in Milan, Italy, and in 2019 another 1st and special prize at the international piano competition “The sound of time”, Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. In 2019 Nikola Bogomilov won the 1st and special prize at the XIII international competition “Music of Austria and Germany” in Burgas, Bulgaria, and the 1st prize at the international piano competition “Pro Piano Romania”, Bucharest, Romania.

Nikola Bogomilov has had many concert performances in several musical festivals in Bulgaria. He was also a solist of the The Youth Philharmonic Orchestra Sofia in 2016.
