Biography

Xiaozhuo Wang was born in 2007 in China. She has been studying violin under the supervision of Alexander Pyankovsky since she was three years old. In 2016, she admitted  to  the Music Middle School Affiliated To Shanghai Conservatory. Since 2020, she has been studying at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts.

Xiaozhuo participated in masterclasses with Prof. Boris Kuschnir, Paul Roczek and Prof. Dora Schwarzberg. She’s also a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks and activities that take place there.

She has won several awards, such as the 1^st prize in the 2012 “China Jiangsu Youth Violin Competition”, the 1^st prize at the “Fengling Cup of National Youth Violin Competition” in China in 2012 and the 1^st prize of the “China Shanghai HaiQu Cup” in 2015, among others. 

In 2018, Xiaozhou participated at the SAOS Orchestra Academy in Salzburg Austria.
