Biography
Mikhailo Khoptyanov was born in 2013 in Ukraine. At the age of five, he began to study the violin and in 2019, he entered the Odessa State Musical Lyceum named after Professor P.S. Stolyarsky. In April 2022, Mikhailo moved to Berlin, where he was accepted into the renowned Julius Stern Institute of the Universität der Künste Berlin and is studying with Prof. Latica Honda-Rosenberg. He is currently enrolled in the Katharina-Heinroth Grundschule in Berlin-Wilmersdorf.
Mikhailo is the winner of international and national violin competitions including the “Concours International de Jeunes Musiciens de Talent Nouvelles Etoiles”, the “Oskar Rieding 5th International Competition for Young Musicians” and the “IX. Stankovych International String Competition”.
