Maxim Bergeron

Biography

Maxim Bergeron was born in Germany in 2004. At the age of four, he received his first violin lessons. At the age of ten, he was admitted to the music high school Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and received lessons from Fr. Zoya Nevgodovska as a young student at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music. 

Maxim took part in international master classes with Prof. L. Honda-Rosenberg, Prof. O. Zolotareva, Prof. K. Mardirossian and Prof. M. Gothoni. He is also a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and regularly takes part in the intensive weeks and activities that take place there.

In 2013, 2016 and 2022, Maxim won the 1st prize at the state level at the competition “Jugend musiziert”. In 2015, he received the 1st prize at the “Märkische Musiktage”. In 2016, he won a 7/8 violin by Bärbel Bellinghausen and a bow by Jean-Pascal Nehr at the “ConTakt Junior Competition”. In 2020, he received the 1st prize at the first international competition “Nouvelles Étoiles” in Paris. 

Maxim gained chamber music experience through numerous performances in various duos and with his string quartet.
