Biography

Evelyne Medvedko was born in Russia in 2004. She received her first piano lessons at the age of four at the local special music school in the class of Dmitry Karpov, assistant to Prof. M.S. Lebenson. Since 2021, she has been a student of the respected Russian artist, professor of the Moscow State Conservatory Mikhail Voskresensky. 

She attended master classes with Paul Badura-Skoda, Masahi Katayama, Dmitri Bashkirov, Pavel Nersessian, Valery Piassetski, Tatiana Zelikman, Bernd Goetzke, Lev Natochenny and Leonel Morales, among others. She is also a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and regularly takes part in the intensive weeks and activities of the academy.

The young pianist was awarded numerous competition prizes. She won the 1st prize at the “César Franck International Piano Competition” in Brussels (Belgium), the 1st prize at the “3rd Siberian International Chopin Piano Competition” in Tomsk (Russia), at the “International Piano Competition for Children and Youth“ in Mexico and at the 10th Piano Competition “Siberia-West-East” (Russia). She received the 2nd prize at the “Competition for Young Pianists” in Chelyabinsk (Russia) and at the “eMuse Competition 2016”. She was awarded the 3rd prize at the "Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition" in Lleida (Spain). In 2020, she received the 2nd prize at the “WPTA International Piano Competition” in Finland. 

Evelyne has performed in the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Hall and in various other concert halls, including Salzburg and Vienna (Austria), Granada and Valencia (Spain), Batumi (Georgia), Tel Aviv (Israel), Stade (Germany) and in Bad Ragaz (Switzerland). She was invited to the International Summer Academy Mozarteum by Prof. Leonel Morales and to the Batumi MusicFest by the UNESCO artist Elisso Bolkvadze. In 2016, she took part in the Piano Loop Festival at the invitation of Prof. Lev Natochenny. In the same year, she was also a solo artist of the Children Play for Children program and performed with the Bright Bows chamber orchestra at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival, directed by the well-known violinist Vadim Repin in Israel. At the age of eleven, she was already playing with the Novosibirsk State Symphony Orchestra. In 2017 she was invited by the chamber orchestra LGT Young Soloists for the CD recording "Russian Soul". In 2018 she performed at the FESTIVAL NEXT GENERATION in Bad Ragaz (Switzerland) and in 2021 she was heard with an orchestra under Dmitry Yurowsky at the Siberian Opera and Ballet Theater.
