Biography

Tatiana Chernichka was born in Novosibirsk into a family of musicians. Since 2003, she has been living in Munich, where she completed her studies at the University of Music and Theatre Munich under Eliso Virsaladze.

She completed her Master’s degree with distinction in 2011 at the Mozarteum University Salzburg.

Tatiana Chernichka is the winner of numerous competitions, including the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano, the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona, and the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels.

From 2009 to 2023, she held a teaching position in collaborative piano at the University of Music and Theatre Munich. Since 2022, she has been a lecturer at the Stella Private University of Music, and since 2023 she has also been teaching at the University of Music and Theatre Munich.

In addition, she has accompanied masterclasses given by renowned professors such as Ana Chumachenco, Natalia Gutman, Julia Fischer, and Boris Kuschnir, as well as intensive weeks at the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein.

Her debut CD featuring the 24 Études by Frédéric Chopin was released in 2018 by ARS Produktion.
