Biography

Anna Mirakyan was born in 1981, and received her first piano lessons at the age of seven at the “P. I. Tchaikovsky” Specialist Music School in Eriwan (Armenia). Later, she began her studies at the State Komitas Conservatory there (solo performance, chamber music, repetiteur and pedagogy).

Anna Mirakyan has won numerous competition prizes as a repetiteur, and regularly performs in concert. In 2005 she took up her current position as professor at the “Centro Superior de Enseñanza Música Katarina Gurska” in Madrid, and since 2012 she has also been repetiteur for Ana Chumachonco’s class at the “Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía” in Madrid.
