Biography

Claudio Berra was born in Italy in 1997. He graduated with full marks and honors at Turin’s State Conservatory and he is currently studying with Benedetto Lupo at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and with Enrico Pace in the Accademia di musica di Pinerolo.

He is a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks and activities there.

Claudio obtained first prizes in international piano competitions and is now supported by the De Sono foundation. Recently, he was awarded the “Bacewicz International Prize 2021” at the BISMA Bacewicz International Summer Music Academy 2021 Festival in Lodz, Poland.

He made his debut with the Turin's Conservatory Orchestra under the baton of Giuseppe Ratti in 2015 and performed both with orchestra and as a soloist in many national and international venues. Recently, he made his debut in Chile, performing Chopin's 2nd piano Concerto in with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona Orchestra directed by Santiago Meza.
