Biography
Lina Patricia Gomez Cordoba was born in 1997 in Columbia. She began her musical studies on the horn in the CEC at Eafit University (an extracurricular program) in 2012, with Juliana Guevara. In 2013, she continued her studies with Professor Gabriel Betancur. In 2015 she began her Bachelor studies in music at Eafit university which she successfully completed at the end of 2020.
Lina has attended master classes with Will Sanders, Radovan Vlatkovic, Radek Baborak, Priscilla Rinehart, Nick Castellano, Corbin Castro and Scott Leger. She is a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the academy's intensive music weeks and activities.

Lina is a member of Iberacademy orchestra since 2015. She also has participated in orchestras such as the Medellin Philharmonic Orchestra, the New World Symphony, the Medellin study Polifónico orchestra, the Bolivian Philharmonic, Die Pforte Orchestra and the EAFIT Symphony Orchestra. In 2020, she participated in the Mozart Woche. Lina played under the baton of Alejandro Posada, Andrés Orozco, Michael Tilson Thomas, Roberto Gonzales Monjas, Francisco Rettig and Thomas Reif.
